Cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small pieces of information that a browser stores and sends to a server with matching requests. Local browser storage, also called „local storage“, is technically separate from this. Data protection requirements apply to it as well.

Our own website code sets no cookies. The navigation, the industry model and the request form need no session and do not store your entries permanently in the browser.

Your decision about measurement is stored in local browser storage under the name apex-einwilligung, together with the time. The entry stays on your device and is not transmitted. If you consent to measurement, Google additionally sets two cookies: _ga and _ga_2TDRW73FGQ, both with a lifetime of two years. They contain a randomly assigned identifier so that repeat visits can be distinguished. If you decline, neither of them is set.

Hosting and additional features

Regardless of any cookie banner, the hosting provider processes technical data in order to deliver the website. For the planned Hostinger setup, the following additionally activated features are to be confirmed: Hostinger's content delivery network (CDN) is active, so page content is delivered via upstream servers, which technically process the IP address of the request. Hostinger's access analytics and protection cookies are not used.

A Hostinger feature such as a CDN, access analytics or an additional protection service may only be integrated once its actual data processing has been assessed and, where required, appropriate consent has been obtained.

Change or reset your choice

You change your decision in the box further down this page. You can reach this page from anywhere via „Cookies & settings“ in the footer. Withdrawing consent ends future transfers by the embedding concerned. Processing that has already lawfully taken place does not become invalid retroactively, and data already transferred is not deleted automatically.

You can also delete the data stored for this website in your browser settings. On your next visit you will be asked again, provided services requiring consent are active.
