Volker Rieboldt

I bring many years of leadership experience and a solid technical foundation from the automotive sector, manufacturing technology and quality and project management. Over two decades – from precision toolmaker and CNC programmer through to head of quality and quality management representative at well-known industrial companies such as voestalpine, Tesla Grohmann Automation and Witte Bitburg – I have learned and managed the entire value chain of manufacturing and quality assurance from the ground up.

My career has repeatedly taken me to the decisive interface between highly complex technical processes, normative requirements such as IATF 16949 and DIN EN ISO 9001, and goal-oriented leadership. That is exactly where my strength lies: combining deep technical understanding with modern leadership, improving processes for the long term and guiding teams to top performance in quality and project management.

A formative milestone in my career was taking full responsibility for plant-wide quality management and delivery at voestalpine Automotive Components, together with leading interdisciplinary projects in the automotive supply industry. These, and major projects in the events and construction sectors, sharpened the way I work: take responsibility, solve challenges analytically through root cause analysis such as Ishikawa and 5 Why, and deliver goals consistently within the agreed time and budget.

As a certified DGQ quality management representative and EOQ Quality Management Representative, I combine the precision that standardised core tools demand with a solution-oriented, pragmatic approach.

As CEO of APEX, I stand for bringing all of these worlds together seamlessly: sound automotive expertise, the highest quality standards, strategic project control and dependable leadership.

Manfred Schmack

COO · Technical business administrator

As COO I bring you more than 25 years of experience in automotive, in the placement of freelancers and employees, and in full-service consulting. As a technical business administrator I combine sound technical expertise with commercial control. I am your specialist for consulting and technology management of organisational structures and for quality management across the entire value chain. Completed projects at Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Porsche AG, AMG, Thyssen AG and tier 1 and 2 system suppliers are a matter of record. Placing and providing engineers and staff for every kind of assignment rounds off what we do.

The automotive world, together with my strong network of partners and cooperations with quality assurance providers, has fascinated me to the point that I have kept developing my career in this sector. Consistent customer satisfaction in every area is the personal goal I have set myself.

I see myself not only as a leader in the role of COO but as a doer and a driver within the process. As a technical business administrator I tie strategic profitability directly to operational practice. That includes interpreting legal and normative requirements and taking part in the implementation, documentation and staff management that follow in day-to-day operations.

Benjamin Kellner

Head of process management, project management & sales

I bring many years of experience from the automotive sector, from project and process control and from coordination across departments. For many years I worked in the environment of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, where I gained broad experience of complex corporate structures, operational processes and working with a wide range of departments and interfaces.

My career has repeatedly taken me to the decisive interface between people, processes, technology and delivery. That is exactly where my strength lies: understanding structures, coordinating processes, bringing responsibilities together and seeing projects consistently through to delivery.

Another important milestone was my work as technical site manager during the rebuilding of the main stand at the MHP Arena Stuttgart for UEFA EURO 2024. Coordinating different trades, companies and contacts under tight deadlines and high quality demands shaped my hands-on way of working. Take responsibility, recognise challenges early and create workable solutions together – that is what I stand for.

With my further training in digital sales management, I have deliberately extended my profile to modern sales structures, digital customer engagement, CRM and the systematic development of customer relationships.

As head of process management, project management and sales at APEX, I am responsible for connecting these areas. My focus is on developing internal and external processes in a structured way, steering projects towards their goal and building lasting customer relationships at the same time.

I see myself not only as a manager or coordinator but as a doer and the link between customer, project and operational delivery. Clear communication, short decision paths and a partnership-based approach are the basis of successful cooperation for me.

At APEX our ambition is not simply to supply individual services. We want to understand where it hurts for the customer, bring the right skills together and develop a precisely fitting solution from them – personal, dependable and from a single source.
